What is it?

The Change Wall is a unique methodology for planning your change initiative. It will dramatically increase acceptance and full implementation by your organization’s stakeholders. Based on sound academic research into the key success factors of change implementation, it has proven effective in both public and private sectors.

What problem does it solve?

In too many instances, great strategies and other changes fall flat and are never fully implemented despite your best efforts. Why is this? One reason is that your organization may approach change implementation using “project management” techniques. While sound, these techniques typically incorporate the human dimension too late in the planning cycle, and resistance has already built up throughout the organization. Furthermore, even if planners have thought through some of the human implications of change, they often implement change initiatives in a piecemeal or disorganized fashion, forgetting crucial steps, and thereby increasing resistance by staff and other stakeholders.

How do you use the Change Wall?

There are two versions: one designed for use by senior planning groups and the other by those in charge of implementation. In both versions, your group will use the Change Wall Manual (which explains each step in the process) and the Change Wall Posters that focus your group’s attention on each of the key decisions that must be made to ensure the success of your initiative. In addition, using the Change Wall Documenter provided with the program, you will document all of your decisions on the spot and then all your group will have to do from then on is follow your plan to the successful end of the change journey.

What will it do for you?

In a very short session, usually no more than two days, your group will be able to make your crucial change decisions, document them and distribute your change plan from beginning to end to all members. You will have a complete and instant record for future reference, touching on all the right bases and incorporating the very best practices in change management. But most importantly, you will increase your change implementation success rate time after time, project after project.
